DEWALT DWE7485 Table Saw
Continuing on with our trend of reviewing
relatively pricey, but also extremely well-made table saws, we are going to be
doing a review of the DEWALT DWE7485 Table Saw.
Now, if you are on a best table saws list,
then the chances are good that you already know about DEWALT, given their
status as one of the pre-eminent tool brands out there. It also isn’t
surprising that we are reviewing one of their power tools, given that they tend
to make some pretty reliable, high-performance power tools.
If you are coming into this review with some
high expectations because you have used and liked power tools from this brand
in the past, we are confident that you will not be disappointed as this is an
extremely good power tool.
In terms of pure, raw cutting power, we doubt
that any saw on this list will be able to match what the DEWALT brings to the
table. It has all three things that determine a saw’s power output going for
it.
It has a really strong, 15 amp motor, it has a
high RPM output (at 5800 RPMs, it is the highest on this list), and it has a
very solid blade. All of those factors combined help to make the DEWALT DWE7485
an extremely potent cutting tool.
There are two issues with this DEWALT table
saw that we want to mention. One issue that is relatively substantial and one
that is quite minor. The more substantial issue obviously has to do with the
price of the table saw.
Given all of the great features on this saw,
as well its general high-quality construction (not to mention the famous brand
name), it probably isn’t too surprising that this is a very pricey tool. The
second and far more minor issue (but potentially one that could still annoy
you) is the fact that the blade on this saw can be somewhat tricky to adjust. Click here
