At first, the dentist drills a hole in the jawbone and fits a screw-like implant made of titanium. Then after a few weeks, you undergo a 2nd procedure wherein an implant and a permanent crown are combined.

2)      Subperiosteal dental implant – This implant uses a metal framework instead of an implanted screw and are placed on the top of the bone just below the gum
